Gammanpila sets Deadline for Easter Attack Reports Reveal

Udaya Gammanpila, a former member of parliament, says the President has been given until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow (October 21) to reveal the two unpublished reports about the Easter Sunday attacks.
“The time I have given the President to release the two reports which he is hesitant to make public on the Easter attack, ends at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow,” Gammanpila stated, speaking to the media today (October 20).
He underlined that the President must release the findings by tomorrow in order to fulfill his constitutional obligation. Gammanpila said that failure to do so could lead to the possibility of impeachment.
"If the President violates Article 38 of the Constitution and does not reveal the reports, I will certainly make them public," Gammanpila added.
