Government is planning to establish a specialized investigation unit to combat corruption, Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya announced. This unit will be headed by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and will focus on probing corruption cases.
Prime Minister Amarasuriya emphasized that the caretaker NPP government is committed to ensuring that existing anti-corruption measures are fully and effectively implemented, reinforcing the government's dedication to accountability and transparency.
