Yesterday's postal polling started from 8.30 am and the polling activities were completed at 4.00 pm.
Facilities have been provided in over 1,500 polling stations island.wide.
Postal voters who are unable to mark their postal votes today, tomorrow and the next day can mark their votes on the 11th and 12th September at the district election offices in the district where their workplace is located.
Over 700,000 state sector employees eligible to cast their ballots.
