The luxury bus service has been launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Highways as a part of ongoing commitment to improving airport accessibility and convenience for passengers.
It will provide a seamless and comfortable connection between the BIA and Colombo.The service operates from 0600 hrs to 1800 hrs, linking the Bandaranaike International Airport with Port City, Colombo Fort Railway Station, Colombo Main Bus Stop, and the Makumbura Multimodal Transport Center.The fare of the each trip is set at Rs 3000/=.Initially 10 luxury buses were deployed.
To further enhance convenience, the luxury bus service will be available during operational hours, ensuring smooth transit for both tourists and the general public to colombo and from the airport.
