A special traffic plan will be implemented during the period in which nomination papers will be accepted by the Election Commission for the Presidential Election.
Police will deploy more than 1,000 officers, including personnel from the Police STF across key areas around the Election Commission in Rajagiriya.
The special traffic plan will be in effect from 8am to 2am aimed at minimizing congestion.
The exit lane on Sri Jayawardenapura Road from Ayurveda Junction to Rajagiriya Junction will be completely restricted.
Motorists are asked to avoid using Sri J'pura Road from Polduwa Junction to D.S Senanayake Junction
Avoid Ayurveda Junction, and Old Kotte Road from Rajagiriya to Borella Junction during this period.
