The Kandy Esala Perahera Festival commences today, 10th August with the first Kumbal Perahera starting at 6:06 pm. The event will continue until August 20.
The procession will travel along Sri Dalada Veediya, D. S. Senanayake Street, Temple Road, Deva Veediya, Srimath Bennet Soysa Street, and Yatinuwara Street, before concluding along Raja Veediya.
