Police today released photographs of three suspects wanted in connection with the Athurugiriya shooting on July 8, which resulted in the deaths of two individuals, including 'Club Wasantha', and left several others injured.
According to authorities, the Athurugiriya Police and the Western Province South Crimes Division are conducting an investigation into the incident. Several suspects have already been arrested and remanded in connection with the case.
The police have now identified three additional suspects and are seeking public assistance to locate them. The suspects are:
1. Tharukara Waruna Indika de Silva, alias 'Sanka' (NIC 951350753V)
2. Patty Harambage Ajith Rohana, alias 'Chandi' (NIC 199207801772), a resident of No. 655/A, Makumbura, Ahungalla
3. Mutuwadura Tarindu Madusankha de Silva, alias 'Bahirawaya'
