Labour and Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara announced that 24 Sri Lankans who attended an event organized by the JVP-affiliated Ethera Api Organization have been arrested in Kuwait.
Posting on X, he said he contacted the Sri Lankan embassy and is taking steps to secure their release.
