India reach final of Women's Asia Cup with win over Bangladesh

Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana struck a powerful partnership as India defeated Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the semi-final of Women's Asia Cup 2024 on Friday in Dambulla. 

Chasing a low total of 81, India faced no difficulty as Shafali and Smriti scored 26* and 55* runs respectively and took their side across the line in just 11 overs. 

Earlier, three-wicket hauls by Radha Yadav and Renuka Singh helped India restrict Bangladesh to 80/8 in 20 overs. With this win, India have entered the final of Women's Asia Cup.
