Sri Lanka's Election Commission to announce Presidential Election date

The National Election Commission is scheduled to meet on Thursday, July 25, to discuss the upcoming Presidential Election. 

The primary focus of the meeting will be to decide the date for the 2024 Presidential Election, which will be announced shortly thereafter.

A spokesperson from the Election Commission confirmed that the Gazette notification for announcing the Presidential Poll will be published before the weekend.
