The Teacher-Principal Trade Union Alliance has announced plans to initiate a work-to-rule campaign beginning July 22, lasting for a duration of two weeks.
This decision, disclosed today by Joseph Stalin, General Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers’ Union (CTU), was made public during a press conference held in Colombo.
During the campaign period, members of the trade unions will strictly adhere to their school-related duties and responsibilities, refraining from participating in any activities beyond their mandated roles within the school environment.
