The Ministry of Education has underscored the essential role of aesthetic subjects in the proposed education reforms, emphasizing their inclusion at all levels of general education.
In a recent statement, the Ministry highlighted that aesthetic subjects will be integrated into primary, secondary, and tertiary education curricula. Students will also have the opportunity to take examinations in aesthetic subjects as part of the GCE Ordinary and GCE Advanced Levels in Sri Lanka.
The Ministry reassured that the status of aesthetic subjects in higher education will remain unchanged.
