The Sri Lanka Human Capital Summit (SLHCS) 2024 is scheduled to take place on July 18, inaugurated by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The summit will feature an array of distinguished international speakers and guests of honor, including former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, former Maldivian President Mohamed Nasheed, Malaysian Minister of Higher Education Dr. Zambi Abdul Kadir, and World Bank's Global Lead for Tertiary Education Roberta Malee Basset.
Other notable attendees include customer service expert Ron Koffman, SHRM USA President and CEO Jonny C. Taylor Jr., NASSCOM Chairman Rajesh Nambiar, and former Invest India MD and CEO Deepak Bagla.
Organized by the Ministry of Investment Promotion, the Board of Investment Sri Lanka, Colombo Port City Economic Commission, Port City Colombo, the Association of HR Professionals Sri Lanka, the World Bank, ADB, Deloitte, India CEO Forum, SHRM USA, KPMG Sri Lanka, Access Engineering, Commercial Bank, and Daily FT, the summit aims to future-proof the nation's human capital needs.
Under the theme “Unlocking Sri Lanka’s Economic Potential by Building a Future-Ready Global Talent Pool,” the 2024 SLHCS will focus on nurturing and enhancing Sri Lanka's human capital.
The event will include specialized technical sessions for critical industry sectors, curated by Sutheash Balasubramaniam and Chandi Dharmaratne, Co-chairs of the technical sessions, featuring insights from industry experts.
