The suspect who is said to have robbed certain goods from Former Sri Lankan Cricketer Sachithra Senanayake in Pannipitiya has been arrested, Kottawa police said yesterday.
The police recovered five wristwatches, four gold bracelets, two rings, a laptop, a tab and a mask which was used for the robbery. These were recovered following the information revealed by the suspect during questioning according to police.
The house belonging to the former cricketer was ransacked a few weeks ago when the former cricketer’s family was out of the house.
