Railway operations on the up-country line have been disrupted due to a train derailment, Sri Lanka Railways (SLR) announced.
The derailment occurred between the Bandarawela and Heel-Oya railway stations, involving a Badulla-bound train from Colombo Fort.
As a result of the incident, the Badulla-Colombo night mail train has been cancelled for today, further impacting travel plans for passengers.
