Landslide Early Warning issued to Ratnapura and kalutara Districts by the National Research Building Organization (NRBO) extended.
Since the rainfall within the past 24 hours has exceeded 100 mm, if the rains continue, the public is requested to be alert on the possibility of landslides, slope failures, rock falls, cut failures, and ground subsidence being ready to evacuate to a safe location if necessary.
Special attention should be paid on all mountainous areas, manmade cut slopes roads within the districts and specially, all the landslide susceptible areas previously identified by NBRO
