DigiEcon Global Investment Summit 2024 commence today at the Cinnamon Grand, under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe, marking a significant milestone in the country’s digital transformation journey. Prominent venture capital firms, including Accelerate Asia, NVentures, SBK Ventures and Tenity, will also participate, aiming to unlock Sri Lanka’s untapped digital potential and explore the vast opportunities within the country’s tech landscape.
State Minister Kanaka Herath said the summit aligns closely with the objectives outlined in the National Digital Strategy 2030. It provides a unique platform to showcase Sri Lanka’s dynamic tech ecosystem to international investors.
DEGIS 2024 facilitates meaningful collaborations between local and global stakeholders, offers a venue for knowledge exchange, and promotes investment opportunities. It also aims to simplify the process for digital enterprises to establish themselves in Sri Lanka.
