Railway operations on the Up-country Line have resumed after a nine-hour disruption caused by fallen trees, sources report.
The train services were halted early this morning, June 23, due to several trees obstructing the tracks between the Inguru Oya and Galabada railway stations.
In response to the situation, the Department of Railways had limited train services on the Up-country Line until the tracks were cleared.
