The Presidential Scholarship Program 2024 was inaugurated recently at Temple Trees, supported by a substantial Rs. 4 billion from the President's Fund.
According to the President’s Media Division, the program aims to provide bursaries to 100,000 students from grades 1 to 11, covering all 10,126 schools nationwide.
At the inauguration ceremony, scholarships were symbolically awarded to 5,108 students from the Colombo district, marking the launch of this nationwide educational support initiative.
