Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places inWestern, Southern, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces after 2.00 p.m, the Department of Meteorology says.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in North-central,Uva and North-western provinces after 2.00 p.m.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and Western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Hambantota via Colombo and Galle during the afternoon or night. |

Winds will be easterly or variable and wind speed will be (20-30)kmph. |
State of Sea: |
Sea areas around the island will be slight. Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers. |
