The Sri Lanka Customs Narcotics Control Unit has arrested a Venezuelan national along with a stock of capsules of suspected cocaine at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning (23).
Sri Lanka Customs Spokesman said 12 capsules weighing 132 grams have been retrieved from the arrestee’s abdomen so far.
The 41-year-old, who arrived in Sri Lanka from Brazil via Dubai, will be handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for onward legal action.
