Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles has directed the State Intelligence Service to swiftly investigate and provide detailed reports regarding the allocation of security officers to politicians and dignitaries from various sectors, even in the absence of any security threats.

Minister Alles emphasized the need to promptly remove police officers assigned unnecessarily to politicians and other VVIPs.

He further said that he has been informed about nearly five thousand police officers being deployed in this manner to individuals who do not pose a security risk.

This allocation of resources has reportedly led to a significant shortage of police officers for essential general duties within the police force.
