Cricketer Lahiru Thirimanna and three others sustained injuries in a car accident involving a collision with a lorry near the 117th mile post on the Anuradhapura-Thirappane road early this morning.
Thirimanna, along with his mother and the driver, were admitted to the Anuradhapura Hospital for treatment.
The accident took place while Thirimanna and his companions were traveling from Kandy to Anuradhapura.
