The Valachchenai Police have initiated investigations following a tragic hunting incident where a firearm accidentally discharged, resulting in the death of a 30-year-old man.
The incident occurred while two friends were out hunting.
The deceased, a resident of Ottamawadi, was fatally wounded when the gun discharged accidentally.
Subsequently, the Police have arrested the other friend involved in the incident.
