Police have arrested four suspects in connection with a kidnapping incident where an individual was held for ransom of Rs. 3.5 million. Following a complaint from the victim's wife, Moragahahena Police initiated an inquiry into the abduction.
The victim was reportedly seized on Thursday by four individuals arriving in a car at Koralaima in Moragahahena, who subsequently demanded the ransom. Law enforcement successfully arrested the suspects involved in the abduction, along with the vehicle used in the crime.
The apprehended suspects, aged between 28 and 45, hail from Kotadeniya and Angoda areas. Moragahahena Police continue their investigation into the matter.
