The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) has announced a revision in fuel prices, set to take effect from midnight today, March 4th.

The adjustments come as a response to global market dynamics and aim to provide relief to motorists and consumers alike.

Under the new pricing structure, the price of Petrol 95 Octane will see a notable reduction of Rs. 9, now priced at Rs. 447 per litre. Similarly, Super Diesel prices have been slashed by Rs. 10, bringing the cost down to Rs. 458 per litre. Additionally, the price of Kerosene will witness a decrease of Rs. 5, now priced at Rs. 257 per litre.

However, the prices of Petrol 92 Octane and Auto Diesel will remain unchanged, as confirmed by the CPC.

In a parallel move, Lanka IOC has announced its intention to align retail fuel prices with those set by the CPC, ensuring consistency across the market.
