Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the leader of Sri Lanka's National People’s Power (NPP) party, is scheduled to embark on a significant journey to Canada next month.
His visit aims to engage with Sri Lankan expatriates residing in Canada and hold discussions with Canadian political figures.
Dissanayake is slated to deliver a keynote address at a gathering in Toronto on March 23, where he is expected to articulate the NPP's vision and engage with members of the Sri Lankan community on various issues concerning their homeland.
This forthcoming trip follows Dissanayake's recent visits to Australia, the United States, and India, where he actively engaged with the Sri Lankan diaspora and sought to foster ties with international stakeholders.
