Sri Lanka's Foreign Affairs Minister, M.U.M. Ali Sabry, is set to partake in the esteemed 60th Munich Security Conference (MSC) in Germany, commencing on Friday, February 16th, as confirmed by the Ministry.
The primary aim of Minister Sabry's participation in the conference is to facilitate the cultivation of trust and contribute towards the peaceful resolution of conflicts by fostering ongoing, curated, and informal dialogues within the international security community.
Minister Sabry is scheduled to deliver a speech during the conference session titled "Protecting Global Commons" on Saturday, February 17th, where he is expected to share Sri Lanka's perspectives on the topic.
In addition to his speaking engagement, Minister Sabry will also utilize the opportunity to engage in bilateral meetings with counterparts from various countries, as well as hold discussions with parliamentarians and business leaders. These interactions are anticipated to strengthen diplomatic ties and explore avenues for cooperation on matters of mutual interest.
