In honor of Sri Lanka's 76th Independence Day, the Commissioner General of the Excise Department has issued directives to close all wine stores and liquor sales outlets on February 4.
This temporary closure aligns with the nation's celebration of independence.
Effective from 10:00 p.m. on February 3, all establishments selling alcoholic beverages will suspend operations, marking a brief pause in liquor sales. Normal operations are scheduled to resume at 8:00 a.m. on February 5.
