Police introduces 24-Hour hotline to combat Child and Women abuse

Sri Lanka Police has launched a 24-hour hotline dedicated to receiving reports of abuse against children and women. 

This initiative is part of the newly established unit, the Bureau for the Prevention of Abuse of Children and Women, within the Police Children & Women Bureau. 

Public are encouraged to submit complaints and share information related to abuse through the designated hotline, 109.
