The hotel 'Soul Beach,' located in Dehiwala, which is suspected to belong to Shiran Basik, a major drug smuggler currently operating from abroad, had been demolished.
The hotel's constructions were removed on Monday by the Coast Guard and the Police after it was found to be an illegal construction.
Meanwhile, a person claiming to be the director of the hotel and two others were arrested for obstructing the duties of government officials during the removal of these unauthorized constructions.
