The Railway Department has taken steps to revise the timetable of the coastal line Railway from tomorrow 1st of January 2024
The Ruhunu Kumari Express which started its journey from Matara railway station is scheduled to start its journey from Beliatta railway station at 5.25 am.
Also, it is reported that the Railway Department has taken steps to run the Sagarika Express train, which ran only on weekdays, on Saturdays as well.
In addition, it is stated that the train running from Maradana to South Payagala at 8.35 pm on weekdays has been extended to Aluthgama from tomorrow 1st of January 2024
The Railway Department announced that the train running from Maradana to Aluthgama at 2:00 p.m. will start at 1:55 p.m.
