In a heartbreaking discovery, the lifeless bodies of a mother and her three children were found in a residence located in the Kahanthota Road area of Malabe this morning.
Among the deceased are two boys and a girl, their identities yet to be disclosed.
The bodies have been transported to Neville Fernando Hospital for further investigations.
Police sources revealed that the father of the children had passed away on the 28th of last month, with the burial conducted on the 30th. The circumstances surrounding these tragic incidents are currently under investigation by the authorities.
