6.6-Magnitude earthquake hits North Sumatra, No Tsunami threat to SL

This morning, a powerful 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck in the Indian Ocean off North Sumatra. 

Sri Lanka's National Tsunami Early Warning Center has confirmed that there is currently no tsunami threat to Sri Lanka resulting from the aforementioned earthquake.
