Prominent Arab-Israeli vlogger Nuseir Yassin, known for his 'Nas Daily' content, has entered into an agreement with Sri Lanka Tourism Minister Harin Fernando to produce three videos promoting tourism and investment in Sri Lanka.
In a meeting on Monday, Minister Fernando and Nas Daily signed the agreement, with Cabinet approval secured for the creation of social media content featuring Yassin, subject to observation by the Finance Ministry.
The three upcoming videos under the Nas Daily brand will focus on the themes of 'Why invest in Sri Lanka?,' 'The craziest train ride in Sri Lanka,' and 'Waterfalls in Sri Lanka.'
Yassin's previous engagement with Sri Lanka includes featuring the country in his 1,000 video series, covering diverse topics such as the paper-making process using elephant dung ('This is Made of Poop?'), the economic progress of the country ('My Biggest Money Mistake'), and a profile on the late author Irfan Hafiz, who had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy ('The Key Board Warrior').
In 2020, Nas Daily highlighted Sri Lanka's generosity during the COVID-19 pandemic with a video titled 'The Most Generous Country During Covid.'
