Onmax DT Directors granted bail in pyramid scheme case

The five directors of Onmax DT Private Company, who were arrested in connection with the operation of an illegal pyramid scheme, were granted release on three sureties of Rs. 10 million each by Colombo Chief Magistrate Prasanna Alwis.

The court also mandated that the suspects must appear at the Financial and Commercial Crime Division of the Criminal Investigation Department between 9 am and 12 pm on the last Sunday of every month.

Consequently, the directors of 'Onmax DT' Private Company—Atula Indika Sampath, Gayashan Abeyratne, Sampath Sandaruwan, Saranga Randika Jayatissa, and Dhananjaya Jayan—were released on bail.
