President Ranil Wickremesinghe left the island a short while ago to attend the inauguration ceremony of Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, president-elect of the Republic of Maldives, the President’s media Division said.
The Presidential Inauguration is scheduled to be held on November 17 at the Republic Square. It was previously announced that arrangements will be made to allow a thousand members of the public to attend the ceremony.
