President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who also serves as the Minister of Finance, will present the 2024 Budget in Parliament at 12 noon (tomorrow).
After the budget presentation, Members of Parliament will have a seven-day debate on the second reading of the budget.
Following this, the committee stage or the debate on the third reading will span over 19 days.
The final vote on the Third Reading of the 2024 Budget is scheduled to take place on December 13 at 6 pm.
