The Chairman of the Central Environment Authority, Supun S. Pathirage, along with two others, has been arrested by bribery officials for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 10 million from a businessman. 

The Bribery Commission said that one of the individuals involved is a former Sabaragamuwa provincial council member. 

The chairman was arrested in his office, while the other two were taken into custody in a Battaramulla supermarket.
