A school holiday has been announced for all Tamil schools on Monday (13) in view of the Deepavali festival falling on Sunday (12).
According to the Education Ministry, the decision has been taken in light of the requirement of Tamil schools.
However, the Ministry announced that schools must be held on November 18 (Saturday) to cover the syllabus.
The principals of Tamil schools should inform their respective Zonal Education Departments in this regard.
