The Supreme Courts have dismissed petitions filed against the Anti-Terrorism Bill.
Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapaksa announced in parliament that the Supreme Courts have informed they cannot examine the Bill because it has not yet been included in the order book.
The government tabled the Anti Terrorism Bill in Parliament earlier last month.
Earlier, Vice Chairman of the Samagi Tharuna Balawegaya Rehan Jayawickreme has filed a petition at the Supreme Court against the controversial Anti-Terrorism bill that has drawn much criticism both at home and around the world.
