Minister of Urban Development and Housing, Prasanna Ranatunga, has issued directives regarding the administration of Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo 07.
He has instructed the Urban Development Authority to transfer the administration of the park to the Colombo Municipal Council.
With the administration being handed over to the Colombo Municipal Council, it is expected that the park's maintenance, operations, and development will come under the purview of the local government, allowing for more direct and localized management.
