Governor of the Eastern Province, Senthil Thondaman, has affirmed that the distribution of lands in the Eastern Province is carried out in strict adherence to legal procedures by the Ministry of Mahaweli and is devoid of any ethnic or religious biases.
He further emphasized that any endeavors to disrupt the land distribution processes within the Eastern Province will be met with legal action by the police.
Governor Thondaman made these statements during a special press conference convened at the Presidential Media Centre (PMC).
