Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply Susil Ranasinghe has assured that there will be no revision to water tariffs until January 2027.
The Minister made this statement while attending a function at a school in Tambuttegama.
He said that water tariff reviews are conducted twice a year, with the next review scheduled for January 2027.
He further explained that any decision to revise water tariffs would depend on changes in water purification costs, which will be assessed during the January review.
