A 48-hour token strike launched by the Railway Station Masters’ Association and several other trade unions has ended.
President of the Railway Station Masters’ Association, Sumedha Somaratne, said the strike was called off at midnight yesterday (18).
He warned that trade union action would be intensified in the future if authorities fail to remove the Railway General Manager from his post.
