An individual who arrived at a house in the Welikanda area, within the Ahungalla Police Division, allegedly attempted to shoot a woman yesterday evening (14).
However, the firearm failed to discharge, and the suspect fled the area.
Ahungalla Police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspect.
