Showers will occur at times in Sabaragamuwa province and in Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts.
Several spells of showers will occur in Western and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over the other areas of the island.
Strong winds about (40-50) kmph can be expected at times over Western slopes of the Central hills, Northern and North-central provinces and in Hambantota, Trincomalee and Puttalam districts.

Showers will occur at several places in the sea areas off the coast extending from Negombo to Matara via Colombo and Galle.
Winds:
Winds will be south-westerly. Wind speed will be (30-40) kmph. Wind speed can increase up to (50-60) kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Hambantota to Pottuvil and from Kalpitiya to Kankasanthurai via Mannar. Wind speed can increase up to 50 kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Kankasanthurai to Trincomalee via Mullaitivu and from Kalpitiya to Hambantota via Galle.
State of Sea:
The sea areas off the coasts extending from Hambantota to Pottuvil and from Kalpitiya to Kankasanthurai via Mannar will be rough at times. The sea areas off the coasts extending from Kankasanthurai to Trincomalee via Mullaitivu and from Kalpitiya to Hambantota via Galle will be fairly rough at times.
The wave height may increase about (2.0 – 2.5) meters in the sea areas off the coast extending from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
