According to the complaint, Mrs. Salley claims that an individual believed to have links to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has repeatedly monitored and followed her and her two children. She alleges that the individual, who was reportedly dressed in civilian clothing, engaged in surveillance activities that caused concern for the family's safety and privacy.
The complaint further states that on Thursday, Mrs. Salley’s 17-year-old daughter and 22-year-old son visited the National Hospital to inquire about their father’s condition. During the visit, the same individual allegedly followed them and used a mobile phone to photograph or record the two children.
Mrs. Salley also noted that she had previously observed the individual near the National Hospital and in the vicinity of the CID headquarters, leading her to suspect ongoing monitoring of her family’s movements.
The complaint has been submitted to the National Authority for the Protection of Victims of Crime and Witnesses for investigation. As of now, no official response has been issued by the CID regarding the allegations.
The matter remains under review, and authorities are expected to assess the claims and determine whether further action is warranted.
This report is based on allegations contained in a complaint filed by Mrs. Manori Salley. The claims have not been independently verified, and no findings have yet been made by the relevant authorities.
