According to the NWSDB, water supply will be suspended from 6:00 p.m. on June 24 until 6:00 p.m. on June 25.
The affected areas are:
Galagedara
Homagama
Kottawa
Pannipitiya
Pelenwatte
Maharagama
The Board stated that the temporary disruption is necessary to facilitate maintenance work on the main transmission pipeline and ensure the continued reliability of the water supply network.
The NWSDB has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and advised residents in the affected areas to make adequate arrangements and store sufficient water in advance of the scheduled interruption.
