According to Police, the arrest was made following an investigation into statements allegedly circulated on social media platforms that were deemed threatening in nature. Authorities stated that the suspect was taken into custody by CCIB officers for further questioning.
Police said investigations are ongoing to determine the origin and intent of the alleged threats, as well as whether additional individuals were involved in the dissemination of the content.
The suspect is expected to be produced before court after preliminary investigations are completed.
